Bisnode: the hospitality industry is making losses for many years
The companies with hospitality business activities are making cumulatively losses from year to year, however, the top ten companies in terms of revenue reached profit in 2011. In the rate of liquidation, the industry can be classified among the worsts – shows the analyis of Bisnode business information services company, published on Thursday.
Before the crisis in 2008, the total revenue of hospitality firms was 344 billion HUF, 2011 they reached nearly 500 billion HUF. As the number of firms releasing reports in this period changed, ranging between 11.8 and 13.2 thousand, the performance per firm shows a more complete picture in terms of projected revenues. In 2008, it was 29.1 million HUF, while one year later 36.3 million HUF, then dropped to 32.2 million in 2010. In 2011 the revenue per company increased again to 37.7 million HUF. (MTI)
