Bisnode: the hospitality industry is the riskiest sector
In the first quarter of this year, the hospitality industry has the highest proportion of bankrupted firms in Hungary, compared to the number of businesses operating in the sector – the Bisnode business information provider informed the MTI on Wednesday.
The catering sector’s bankruptcy rate was 4.66 per cent in the first three months of 2014, while the construction industry’s bankruptcy rate was 4.58 percent. The bankruptcy rate for the hotel sector is less than about 3 percent. Within hospitality, the bankruptcy rate of restaurant and mobile catering is around 4 percent, the most risky activity is beverage service, where bankruptcy rate is nearly 6 percent – Bisnode.informs in its communication.
