The sugar factory of Kaposvár operates with biogas
In the only sugar factory of the Magyar Cukor (MC), Inc. in Kaposvár such a post-fermenting department was built with EU support, that covers half of the energy demand of the sugar factory with biogas – said Nagyné Szendefy Judit, executive of Biogáz Fejlesztő Kft., on the demonstration event of the project on Wednesday.
The company's research team already plans further submissions to the further development of biogas production. In the case of the full implementation of the plans, the total production would be covered by the usage of biogas until 2013, which would mean about three billion HUF annual savings for the company – reports Magyar Nemzet Online, after MTI.
