The needless wheat will be transformed into bio-ethanol
Due to the oversupply, wheat became cheap. In Europe, one part of the wheat will be transformed into bio-ethanol. The demand for bio-ethanol increases in the EU. The using of bio-ethanol reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
In the forthcoming period, several high-capacity bio-ethanol plants will be launched in Europe. This year, Ensus will install Europe's largest biofuels refinery on the north-east part of England, where from about 1.1 million tonnes of wheat, 400-450 million liters of bioethanol will be produced. The EU's demand for bio-ethanol this year increases to more than 4 billion liters from 3.5 billion liters – reports Szabad Föld Online.
