Only every eight Hungarian used to buy organic products
Only every eight Hungarian consumer used to buy organic products (13 percent), while this ratio in Europe is 35 percent – sets the survey of Nielsen market research company, made in 54 countries, including Hungary.
The main motive of customers is that they consider organic products more healthier. Those who do not purchase organic products explain it with the expensive prices.
Eighty-four percent of the interviewed Hungarian bio-buyers believe, that organic products are healthier. Seventy percent of the respondents, consider that with buying organic food they avoid pesticides and other poisons.
