Hershey to Close one of its American Plant
A Naugatuck factory where candy bars such as Mounds and Almond Joy have been made for 85 years, is shutting down for good.
The shift is part of an overall realignment plan by Hershey. The company is eliminating 1,500 jobs nationwide and cutting a third of its production lines over the next three years.
