Last year, Almost 30 percent of the dairy factories was closed in Romania, because the Romanian producers could not sell their products, but the production costs are increasing from year to.
According to Dorin Cojocaru, the President of the April Association, protecting the interests of the dairy companies, in the beginning of last year 183 dairy factories were operating in Romania, but until April, their number was reduced to 152and by the end of the year it was only 130. The closure of teh more than 50 factories was explained with operating profitability decline. (MTI)
