The first and only Hungarian fast food restaurant chain closed
The first and only Hungarian “fast food restaurant chain” has closed the gates of its first and only unit. The venue located in Váci utca was opened in December 2010, and their investment over 100 million HUF was supposed to lead to a positive revenue within five years. However, according the press news, notarial execution was inititated against the company behind Gusto Burger in 2011.
According to Napi Gazdaság, the problem leading to the end of the restaurant was closely linked to the high rent, but experts are convinced that other trade-related problems also played a role in the bigger picture.
