The bread factory has been closed in Szentes

In the bread shop, of the bread factory, bread still can be purchased but the production has been stopped, the plant has been closed on the 1st of July. The closure was justified by the fact that less order came in as it was calculated.

Sixteen workers were dismissed out of fifty. The others received work at the bakery in Vásárhely also owned by the Árpád Agrár Ltd. According to Csikai Miklós, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Árpád Agrár Ltd. they could not gave competitive offers to the larger centers of Szentes, so they obtained other distant bakeries.
