Half of the Hungarian pig breeders may close

In one year, half of the Hungarian pigs may disappear. Today it looks like that half of the pig breederies have to be closed, because they are unable to meet the environmental standards until the end of the year deadline. The feed price explosion may also lead to the drastic reduction of the stock.

If the current rules remain, the half of the Hungarian pig breederies have to be closed.
