The Nébih closed down a slaughterhouse in Pest county
The inspectors found serious hygiene problems in a slaughterhouse in Pest County. The National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH) banned immediately the functioning of the plant.
According to the communication of the authority sent to MTI on Thursday, the flooring, walls and furnishings were covered with dried blood, dirt and scraps of meat. In addition, the inspectors found large amounts of animal by-products at the site as well. (MTI)
