A Chinese restaurant in Kecskemét was closed by the government office
The financial inspectors of the National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) found shocking hygienic conditions in a Chinese restaurant in Kecskemét, following their report the Bács-Kiskun County Government Office closed the place, the NAV informed MTI on Tuesday.
In the Chinese restaurant, there were rotten food remnants behind the machines used to prepare the food, insects were crawling out of the refrigerators, and a dead rodent carcass was found under the equipment.
Seeing the alarming circumstances, the patrols immediately notified the staff of the Bács-Kiskun County Government Office, who ordered the closure of the restaurant and the destruction of the food ingredients without delay.
According to the announcement, the inspection of excise retailers and wholesalers falls under the authority of NAV.
The authority examines the existence of the operating conditions, compliance with the regulations for the storage and sale of excise products, the origin of the excise products, the existence of seals and item identifiers, their adequacy and compliance with the rules for their procurement.
