One of the most popular bistros in Balaton is closing
Andriska Pékbisztró, popular in the Balaton highlands, is closing its doors permanently in Kővágóörs. According to Forbes, the founders, András Török and Zsófi Major, decided last summer to take a break and think about the future during this period – now it looks like the closure is final.
The location opened its doors five years ago, and since then it has become one of the coolest breakfast bakeries in the Balaton highlands. In the Andriska Pékbistro, the events organized in the garden and the tasty pastries attracted visitors the most. On a busy weekend, up to a thousand people visited the bistro, where thirty types of pastries and sandwiches awaited the guests every day.
In their announcement, the founders shared their decision:
“For now, we have made the decision that here and now, we will not continue. Andriska’s story will certainly not end there, because the reason we started, to be able to offer you food and experience, remains our passion.”
– they wrote.
