The distinctive mark on organic wines will be introduced in the EU
From this year's harvest the wine producers will indicate the “organic wine” phrase on their products in the European Union.
The European Commission announced in Brussels on Wednesday that the EU Committee dealing organic products adopted new rules on organic wines.
These rules will “improve transparency and increase the awareness of organic wines among consumers, and contribute” to strenghten the international positions of the EU organic wines – reports MTI.
