Are gas boilers banned? – National research on the heating habits of Hungarians
The International Energy Agency (IEA) has proposed banning the sale of new fossil fuel boilers from 2025. In comparison, homes in Hungary are most often heated by natural gas-fired equipment, which is unfavourable because it contributes to the increase in CO2 emissions and thus to global warming, as it is a fossil fuel.
