The METRO organized a supplier conference
The 2016 strategy of the Metro Kereskedelmi Kft. focuses on to further deepen the relationship with Hungarian suppliers as well as to increase the circulation of private label products within the sales – was said at the company's Supplier Conference. At the event, METRO’s procurement and marketing executives consulted with the key suppliers about the experiences of this year and about the medium-term objectives.
The METRO is the number one partner of the HORECA sector in Hungary as well as the food retail outlets. More than half of the businesses that are operating in these two business areas mentioned above are the customers of Metro. Horváth Imre, the CEO when outlined the cornerstones of the company's strategy said that the dedicated segment management, targeted communication, regional sales and increasing the role of private labels in 2016 will be very important.
