Besenyei Péter became third at the season opener Red Bull Air Race
Besenyei Péter gained podium again with a great flight at this weekend’s season opener Red Bull Air Race, in Abu Dhabi.
The Hungarian pilot reached the third place with a last year’s machine, in a hard battle, terrible heat and strong winds. The 2009 defending world champion, Britain's Paul Bonhomme won the Grand Prix before, his compatriot, Nigel Lamb.
"I am terribly happy." – said Besenyei Péter. "At the beginning of the week, I would have been very glad if I could have qualified into the Super Eights and when it happened I began to hope for a podium place. I am very happy. "
The next race of the season will be in Perth, Western Australia on the 17th and 18th of April.
