Wage supplement and Sunday opening hours
According to the proposed modification of the Labour Code; the employers should pay fifty percent salary bonus to their employers working on Sundays, except for those part time workers, who only work on Sundays. This provision may affect the retail chains particularly vulnerably.
The new Labor Code also contains that on holidays the employees who work a normal working day should be paid a 100 percent salary supplement. The same would be applied to Easter, and Pentecost Sunday – writes penzcentrum.hu.
