Milk powder production restarts in Berettyóújfalu
This year raw milk is still purchased from Germany for milk powder production, but from 2015 the owners plan to buy from local dairy farmers. The plant, established in 1957, was closed down 2 years ago. Now there are new Hungarian owners and production restarts in May after a HUF 200 million investment. 47 people are going to be employed and initially the production capacity will be 500 tons of skimmed milk powder, sold to a Chinese partner.
