Introducing Unicum’s first luxury liqueur, Trezor X
Zwack Unicum has reached another important milestone in its more than 230-year history: it has created Unicum Trezor XO, a limited-edition, exclusive herbal liqueur, with which it is also the first Hungarian beverage brand to enter the luxury segment, where tradition and innovation meet the luxurious feeling of life.
Unicum Trezor XO is a new member of the legendary Unicum herbal liqueur family, aged for ten years in oak barrels and then for months in French wine spirit barrels. This is indicated by XO, the “Extra Old” designation common in cognac production, which is intended to represent a decades-long process, which acquires a special character thanks to the process. In addition to vanilla and tropical spices, barrel-aged, woody notes also appear in its aroma, in addition to the complex, spicy flavor of more than 40 types of herbs, ripe, oaky, chocolatey notes dominate.
The drink, whose very name indicates that we can hold a real specialty in our hands, a rarity that we can keep as a treasure and open when celebrating special occasions. Unicum Trezor XO is sold in an elegant square bottle, its transparent glass makes the pure color of the drink clearly visible. This design also makes the new liqueur specialty unique even among the members of the rounded Unicum family.
The exclusivity of the drink is also indicated by the numbered bottles according to the vintage. Each vintage has its own character, as no two harvests are alike, the weather determines and influences the flavor of the herbs picked in a given year. Available in limited quantities, the Unicum Trezor XO can therefore attract collectors of high-class drinks as a real treasure.
