Introducing the 2025 Female Logistician of the Year Jury
The visibility and recognition of female professionals in the logistics sector is promoted by the Women in Logistics of the Year Award, whose jury is once again made up of outstanding leaders in the sector – this time including last year’s winners. The body aims to inspire and support future female talents in the world of logistics.
The gender imbalance in the logistics sector remains significant, especially in leadership positions – this is what the Women in Logistics of the Year Award, founded by Waberer’s and the professional media Navigátorvilág in 2023, aims to change. The award is presented for the third time this year to draw attention to the outstanding achievements of female professionals and to inspire all those who would like to build a career in logistics.
The independent professional jury of the award once again includes renowned professionals who are key players in the industry and are committed to supporting the development of female talent, strengthening professional recruitment and promoting equal opportunities.
This year’s jury is also assisted by two of last year’s award winners: Ágota Balogh, CEO of Royal Sped, and Judit Palicska, Managing Director of Waberer’s Network.

Gabriella Szécsi
Gabriella She joined BI-KA Logisztika Kft. in 2002. Moving from the position of operational director to the position of managing director, the company’s revenue has continuously increased thanks to her strategic vision and leadership skills.
Her professional work is marked by several awards, including the Best Women’s Workplace Award, the Young Manager of the Year award, and the Female Logistician of the Year 2023 award.
She is an active participant in professional life and considers mentoring, teamwork, and supporting female leaders to be of paramount importance. He has been a member of the board of the Hungarian Transporters’ Association since 2019.
Zsolt Fülöp
Zsolt founded Trans-Sped Kft. in 1990, in whose strategic management he is still actively involved.
His career to date has been accompanied by numerous professional awards: in 2021 he was awarded the Civilian Branch of the Hungarian Silver Cross of Merit, and in 2024 he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for Transport by the Hungarian Transporters’ Association.
A committed supporter of the development of the logistics profession, the president of the Hungarian Logistics Service Centers Association, and the chairman of the supervisory board of the Hungarian Transporters and Logistics Service Providers Association.
Márton Lányi
Márton has been working for the international freight forwarding group Kühne+Nagel since 2007, and has been the Managing Director of the Hungarian subsidiary since 2014.
As the President of the Hungarian Freight Forwarders Association and an associate professor at Edutus University, he considers it important to inspire and prepare future logistics professionals for the constantly changing challenges of the industry.
Zsolt Bándy
Zsolt began his career in January 2000 as a salesperson for the Magyar Közlekedés és Navigátor magazine, and in the same year he launched the Freight Forwarding Conference, which now has a 25-year history.
In 2016, he and his colleagues took over the publishing of the magazines and the organization of professional events organization.
The professional gala was established at the initiative of its publisher, at which the most outstanding players in the transportation and logistics sector, including the Women Logisticians of the Year, are awarded every year.
Barna Zsolt
Zsolt has been working at Waberer’s Group since 1996, where he has been the company’s CEO since 2021 and the chairman of the board of directors since April 2023.
During his career, he has received several industry recognitions, and in 2021, Navigator World chose him as the Person of the Year.
Since 2022, he has been the president of the Hungarian Road Carriers Association and has been actively involved in the transport sector as a member of the board of directors of several transport companies (MÁV, Volánbusz). in development.
Ágota Balogh
Ágota started her career at Royal Sped Zrt. in 1994 as a customs officer in Nagylak, and then continued as an office manager in Röszke from 2004. In 2017, as a talented young person, she was assigned to work as an operational manager at the company. In 2020, she was promoted to the position of commercial and operational director of the company, and from June 2025, she will manage the company as CEO. During her work, she expresses herself as a living being from the past, being aware of the situation and problems of the operational staff, which is why she addresses her colleagues with particular sensitivity. Her express intention is to increase the role of female employees.
