SOS-stores selling cheap food in Belgrad
Grocery store chains launched the so-called SOS-stores, grocery store for low-income individuals in Belgrad, Serbia.
The outlet features prices 20-50% lower than regular retail rates. The freshly opened stores are only available only to people with special cards. These cards will be available to individuals earning the minimum wage or pensioners, the unemployed, displaced people from Kosovo and those receiving the lowest level of welfare.In cooperation with the Association of free and independent trade unions, the trade company will immediately start issuing consumer cards for the purchase in the SOS supermarkets, said Director of this company Milorad Miskovic.
