Belgium would cut thousands of pigs to prevent the outbreak
Belgium would cut about four thousand pigs to prevent the spread of African swine fever. ASF was detected in a total of nine wild boars – the La Libre Belgique Belgian daily wrote on Monday.
According to the daily newspaper Denis Ducarme, Belgian Minister of Agriculture suggests to slaughter every pigs in the area of about 630 square kilometers, where the African swine fever-affected wild boars were found in mid-September. (MTI)
