Sainsbury’s plans push into UK beauty market
Taking on Boots, Superdrug and Debenhams, Sainsbury’s is testing department store-style beauty aisles staffed with specialist assistants in 11 stores. The UK beauty market is worth GBP 2.8 billion and it keeps growing. Sainsbury’s plan is to double the size of its beauty offering later.
