Stockmann To Open First Department Store In Lithuania
Finnish retailer Stockmann said it plans to open its first department store in Lithuania after signing a preliminary lease agreement for a unit in a new shopping centre in the capital Vilnius.
The 13,000-square-metre store will be
one of the anchors in the city-centre mall, which is due to open in
late 2010. Besides its seven Finnish department stores, Stockmann
currently has four department stores in Russia and one each in
Estonia and Latvia.
