Bel Group Renews Partnership With WWF For Sustainable Dairy Farming
Bel Group, the maker of Babybel cheese, has announced that it has renewed its partnership with WWF France for a period of three years.
The partnership will enable the organisations to continue their efforts in implementing concrete solutions that foster sustainable dairy farming and raise consumer awareness.
The collaboration between Bel Group and WWF France dates back to 2012.
These include the implementation of the Global Sustainable Upstream Dairy Charter in all 10 of Bel’s dairy supply basins around the world, and the ‘Farming for the Future’ programme.
The ‘Farming for the Future’ programme will identify existing innovative practices used by participating farmers that are well suited to local situations and can be implemented elsewhere.
Another focus area for WWF and Bel Group will be to provide technical support to projects within the group’s dairy supply basins.
