The Year of the Horse has arrived in China
The first day of the 2014 Chinese New Year is on January 31, 2014 in China's time zone. This day is a new moon day, and is the first day of the first Chinese lunar month in the Chinese Lunar Calendar system. The logo of the new year can be found on from everyday objects to luxury products.
The snake pattern plush and other products were replaced by their horse equivalents on the shelves of the East Asian country. Moreover, according to the Chinese horoscope the Year of the Horse is lucky for the local traders certainly it had a good start: according to the Ministry of Commerce, sales reached close to record levels, even before the week-long celebrations.
