On 27 April, the leaders of the Hungarian Gastronomic National Association (MNGSZ) and the Hungarian Gastronomy Association (MGE), rather unexpectedly, started negotiations. The two parties agreed to prepare a document that summarises the situation and expectations of the trade, which they will present to regulating authorities. They will cooperate in training master chefs and chef teachers.

MGE will organise the Tradition and Evolution and the Czifrai contest, while MNGSZ will coordinate WACS Global Chef Challenge and Chef Olympics. Bocuse d’Or Hungary and the Academy were not discussed.
