Fitness beer from Canada
A Canadian beverage company has crafted a low-calorie, high-protein “recovery beer” aimed at jocks who want a little buzz with their post-workout beverage.
British Columbia-based Vampt says its forthcoming Lean Machine beer contains 7 grams of protein at only 77 calories pop, making it a perfect option for drinkers apt to belly up to a bench press.
Other beers aimed at active lifestyles have fewer calories, but contain no protein and none of Lean Machine's replenishing nutrients and anti-oxidants, Vampt founder Ian Toews said.
