Magyar Suzuki Zrt received an investor’s lifetime achievement award.
Magyar Suzuki Zrt. received an Investor Lifetime Achievement Award at HIPA’s “Investor of the Year 2023” Awards Gala last night. The recognition was received by Atsumi Masato, the CEO of the Esztergom manufacturing company.
At the award ceremony held in the Romanian Hall of the Museum of Fine Arts, it was announced that Magyar Suzuki Zrt., founded 33 years ago, is nowadays a key player in the Hungarian vehicle industry. As the first car manufacturer to settle in Hungary after the regime change, it made a significant contribution to the development of the national economy by introducing advanced technology, valuable know-how and a modern work culture. With more than three decades of activity as a car manufacturer, as one of the country’s major employers and as one of the developers of the Hungarian supplier network, it earned the HIPA Investor Lifetime Achievement Award.
Atsumi Masato emphasized in his acceptance speech that he owes the achieved results not only to the employees of the Esztergom production company, but also to his partners and suppliers. He added that Magyar Suzuki continues to work on producing valuable and reliable products in the future, taking into account sustainable production and operation.
