Wheat harvest almost completed in the country. Due to bad weather, the farmers are still working on 1-2 percent of the area – the President of the National Association of Grain Producers (GOSZ) told MTI on Wednesday.
Vancsura József told that the harvest is expected to be fully completed by the end of the week as it was planned.
The total amount of winter wheat in the country is expected to exceed 5 million tonnes. Of which more than 2 million tonnes will be exported. 40 percent of the wheat has eating quality, while the rest has feed quality – the President of the GOSZ added. (MTI)
