Barbora closes its Polish operations
Online retailer Barbora – a member of the Maxima Group – ceased operations in Poland as of 3 March 2024. The company entered the country in 2021 and offered grocery home delivery in four major cities, Tricity, Warsaw, Katowice and Lodz. Barbora explained the decision with the slow growth in demand for the service.
