CIB Bank has frozen Zalabaromfi's bank accounts
According to press informations Hungarian poultry company cannot pay either its employees or its suppliers. Zalabaromfi has forced its several hundred employees to take temporary leave.
Zalabaromfi's management told
that CIB Bank has still not informed them why the company's accounts
were closed. An answer to the “mysterious" freezing of the
bank accounts may be sought at other members of the group controlled
by Zalabaromfi's owner, Dale Holding.
Reacting to information
that Zalabaromfi was denied access to its accounts over debts of
another group member. A supplier, however, told MTI that grain trader
and storage company Gabonatransz and its financial woes spurred CIB
Bank to action. The unnamed source said total outstanding payment
already amounts to HUF 1 billion.
