The first applications for 3 million HUF support for liquor stores in small settlements have been received
The first applications for the 3 million HUF support for small village pubs have been received, with dozens of village pub operators from many different parts of the country submitting their applications on the first day, the Kisfaludy2030 Tourism Development Nonprofit Zrt. announced to MTI on Wednesday.
According to the information, the government is committed to strengthening tourism SMEs, as the sector plays a key role in economic growth and job creation.
This goal is also served by the new scheme available for the development of liquor stores in settlements with fewer than a thousand inhabitants, for which operators of pubs, wine bars and espresso bars can submit their applications from March 3.
The new application is a continuation of the sectoral support program announced last year, as a result of which more than 3,300 applicants have received support nationwide so far.
They reminded that in the support program launched last May to strengthen the competitiveness of rural catering establishments, six types of establishments could apply for a fund of one million forints per establishment.
According to the tender criteria, any operator of a rural catering establishment open all year round could receive development funds for development aimed at operational stability or for energy saving, or for equipment procurement. The vast majority of applications received, more than 2,200, were submitted for equipment procurement.
The service providers of Pest, Győr-Moson-Sopron and Veszprém counties submitted the most applications through the system of the National Tourism Data Service Center
– they announced.
The new scheme published to support liquor stores in small settlements is also already attracting significant interest. The call, which is open until April 3, is available on the kisfaludyprogram.hu website.
