The melon season starts at Lidl!
The first Hungarian melon deliveries arrived at the warehouses of Lidl Magyarország. This year’s Hungarian melon season starts in the department stores.
The purpose of the supermarket chain is to sell the highest possible quantity of high quality Hungarian watermelons, thereby supporting Hungarian producers in both domestic and foreign markets. Lidl Magyarország sold nearly 12,000 tons of Hungarian watermelons on the domestic and export markets during the 2018 melon season.
