BDPST Group: Budapest can have a strong summer season again

BDPST Hotel Management Zrt. (BHM), one of Hungary’s major hotel management companies, expects a strong summer season in the Budapest hotel market, while intensifying competition for domestic guests in the countryside, the group told MTI on Tuesday.

Somlyai Zoltán, CEO of BHM, emphasized in the announcement that the revival of international tourism will result in an increase in the number of visitors to the capital and a recovery in the hotel market in Budapest. This positive effect is already being felt in their hotels in Budapest, and booking numbers are constantly rising, he said, adding that this is due, among other things, to events that are moving more than one nation, such as the FINA World Water Championships.
