BDO: lack of new hotel projects despite the favorable tourism datas
Although the datas of the Central Statistics Office (KSH) show that during the first ten months an 8 percent increase occurred in the number of guest nights, while in the four-star hotel category an outstanding, more than 17 percent increase occurred, the hotel market developers are still waiting, just a few new development have started in the country – shows BDO Hungary’s analysis.
“Despite the positive trends, investors remain wary on the hotel market, because in terms of profitability they continue to see high risks” – explains Hegedűs Attila, managing director of the BDO Hotel and Real Estate. (MTI)
