Dániel Bart: Every regular brewer already hates the label “craft beer”
24.hu conducted an interesting interview with Dániel Bart, the Hungarian apostle of beers, whose name is associated with Főzdefest and Budapest’s first craft beer bar, but also worked as a gastro journalist. His new book, The Golden Stream – The Biography of Beer, was recently published.
The interview invites you on a kind of cultural and social historical journey, which reveals what beer actually is, why there is no civilization without it, and what parallels can be drawn between Sumerian culture and heavy metal thanks to this drink, which has been popular for thousands of years, but it is also discussed , how domestic breweries and large producers viewed the beer revolution taking place in gastronomy.
