Lack of poultry-products on the Hungarian market

Deficiency may take shape in the next months when it comes to certain chicken products on the domestic market as inland demand for certain poultry meats is getting more and more powerful – László Bárány, president of the Poultry Product Council said.

 Transitional supply troubles are to be expected due to the recession, since the stock of most processers  had been worn out. The deficiency is affecting cheaper products in the first place: rump back, wing, neck and giblets. In fact, it was necessary to share chicken freights within the processing industry even before the Easter-season because of the growing claims the commercial orders – László Bárány added.
