Banana, rolls and toothbrush were the hit products in summer ALDI stores
ALDI opened temporary stores at three summer music festivals (VOLT, Balaton Sound, Sziget) and at the 17th FINA World Championships, which served more than 200,000 customers. Top products included banana, cherry tomatoes, apple, nectarine, bread rolls and other baked goods. In the Grill Zones ALDI’s chefs prepared nearly 20,000 hot meals. From dairy products chocolate milk, yogurt and mozzarella snack proved to be the most popular. In the non-food category toothbrush and earplugs sold well. //
