Children’s dinnerware from China recalled due to presence of bamboo fiber
The UOUOROSE brand children’s dinnerware from China has been recalled due to the presence of bamboo fiber – the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority (NKFH) announced to MTI on Monday.
The authority requests that if anyone has purchased the children’s dinnerware with the batch number JJ478 manufactured by the Chinese Yiwu Jixiang Trading Co., Ltd. and distributed by the Hungarian UOUOROSE Kft. and still has the product in their possession, they should not use it any further.

Based on a notification received through the European Union’s Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed Safety (RASFF), an unauthorized ingredient (bamboo fiber) was identified during an official inspection in children’s dinnerware originating from China.
The product was also placed on the market in Hungary.
The National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority contacted the affected company, UOUOROSE Kft., which, in cooperation with the NKFH, took the necessary measures within its own competence and ensured the recall of the affected item from consumers.
The authority is monitoring the measures taken by the company and the further fate (destruction or removal) of the recalled products.
