Levente Balogh joins A2 Tej Trade Kft. as a strategic investor and managing director. The businessman, also known from the TV show Among the Sharks, takes an active role in the strategic and operational management of the company: he participates in brand building, market positioning, business development and communication. The company’s goal is to build a new product category in the domestic dairy industry, offering an innovative, premium quality alternative to conscious consumers. The company aims to be a stable, credible player in the market in the long term, based on the cooperation of four equal owners: in addition to Levente Balogh, András Bak, Gábor Bak and László Gombos form the ownership circle.
“For me, A2 milk is not a trend, but a response to a real consumer need. As CEO, I am personally responsible for ensuring that this brand is credible and successful in the long term. Our goal is to be the best, the most understandable and the most credible, because consumer education is at least as important to us as the product itself,” said Levente Balogh.
A2 milk: a new dimension of milk consumption
A2 milk is a type of cow’s milk that differs from other milks due to the protein it contains. Traditional, commercially available milks typically contain a mixture of A1 and A2 beta-casein. A2 milk, on the other hand, contains only A2 type beta-casein protein. It comes from cows that have genetically inherited the A2 variant, and therefore naturally produce this type of protein.
A2 milk has a silky taste, offers the experience of fresh milk, and represents a premium quality and innovative product category. It can also be an excellent choice for those with more sensitive stomachs, as many consumers find it easier to digest. Breast milk is also A2 type milk.
A2 milk is now available at Kifli.hu, at Imrei Tejbolt in Budapest, in Pestszentimre, in several SPAR franchise stores, and in cafes, including Stika, Mini, Fusion Café, and Páholy.

At the same time as the market announcement, A2 Tej Trade Kft. is launching a national donation program. The company is offering 10,000 glasses of A2 milk, produced with exceptional care, to 10,000 disadvantaged primary school children, in the spirit of supporting healthy and balanced nutrition.
The aim of the initiative is to enable as many children as possible to encounter high-quality, modern dairy products at school age.
