European real estate investors are turning to Bali
The Bali real estate market is a new destination for European investors, where gross returns of up to 12-18 percent per year can be achieved.
Construction costs and maintenance costs on the island are significantly lower than European levels. Remarc Property Group, led by its Hungarian co-owner Christian Kovács, is building a five-star resort called Zen Luxury Complex. The local legal environment is becoming increasingly transparent, especially in the Pink Zones. The boom in tourism and the growing number of digital nomads are further increasing the occupancy rate of properties, reaching levels of up to 70-80 percent in the most popular regions.
