Thousands of tourists complaining due to the Sunday store closure at the Lake Balaton
Chaotic conditions occured on the first Sunday of the Hot Summer Season at the Lake Balaton: thousands of angry tourists were in fret, because of the closed shops – the Népszava Online wrote.
Yesterday only stores with a smaller area than 200 square-meters colud be open, even at the Lake Balaton, but only if at least the fifth part owner, or his lineal relatives stood behind the counter, armed with adequate licenses.
The settlements near the lake several times asked the government for exemption from the Sunday store closure to places frequented by tourists, but the government firmly rejected the initiative. (nepszava.hu)
