Balaton and Croatia – the most popular travel destinations

The Hungarian National Tourist Office has examined the travel plans of the Hungarian population for the period May-September, and their main holiday destinations.

The representative survey found that nearly 35 percent of households are planning a trip in the 2012 season. Nearly 7 percent of the surveyed households have not yet decided whether to take ahigh season travel. 72 percent of those who plan a journey have chosen domestic destinations, almost 62 percent of them will only travel within Hungary. The most popular travel destinations are still the Lake Balaton and Croatia. (Világgazdaság Online)
