Baker McKenzie: appointment of new partners in the Budapest office
As of July 1, 2024, Baker McKenzie has elected Márton Horányi, the co-head of the competition law practice of the Budapest office, as an international partner, while Dániel Orosz, a lawyer in the takeover and corporate law group, has been promoted to a local partner.
Dr. Márton Horányi started his career at Baker McKenzie in 2007, and after a short detour he returned in 2016 as a local partner and co-head of the competition law group. Over the past years, Márton has shown extraordinary expertise and dedication in handling cross-border competition law cases, which has contributed to strengthening the firm’s local and global market position. Based on the evaluation of leading legal magazines, Márton is a highly ranked specialist. His tasks will include the further development of the competition law group in Budapest, with particular attention to the area of compliance.
