French poultry farmers are in trouble
In Hungary, the amount of purchased chicken increaesd by 13 percent, its liveweighted producer price of 256.74 HUF per kilo was 4.6 percent higher in the first twenty-five weeks of 2012 than a year earlier – shows fresh analysis of the Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI),.
The domestic sales of chicken meat increased by 25 percent in the observed period. The processing selling price of whole chicken decreased to 452 HUF from 464 HUF, the processing selling price of chicken thigh decreased to 441 HUF 453 HUF, while the price of chicken breast increased by 4 percent to 941 HUF.
