PENNY opened a new store in Baja
PENNY opened its 231st store in the center of Baja, on Csermák Mihály tér. The new discount store is located next to the long-distance bus stop, making high-quality, budget-friendly products more accessible not only to local residents, but also to commuters in the area.
With nearly 400 square meters of sales space, PENNY’s newest and second store opened in Baja, which provides permanent and stable work opportunities for 18 people. By 2023, all units of the department store chain were renewed, so the store in Baja was also designed in accordance with the new image, keeping in mind the company’s sustainability goals and the needs of customers. The full LED lighting and the modern cooling and air conditioning system contribute to energy efficiency: refrigerators equipped with glass doors and climate-neutral refrigerant are not only quiet in operation, but also have low electricity consumption.
“We are proud that we were able to open another store, moreover, in such a frequented location, which is easily accessible to both local residents and those coming from further afield. Our constant goal is to be present in as many areas of the country as possible and to make our affordable, yet high-quality products available to as many people as possible. To this end, we are constantly expanding our business network”
– said Eszter Kazatsay, head of communications at PENNY in Hungary.
