The huge success of Badacsony-wines
The biggest event of the Badacsonyi wine region moved to Budapest for one day for the thirteenth time and, as in previous years, it was once again a huge success. Every year, the Badacsony in New York military parade held in the Róma Hall of the patina New York Palace moves a wide range of fans of Badacsony and the wines made here.
The high-quality event organized this year with a record number of exhibitors has been unbroken since its inception. The fact that the Rome hall was already full in the early afternoon with representatives of the press and the profession, and then with the general public is a clear proof of this. For the large-scale Badacsony in New York event, which has a long history, the winemakers brought the most characteristic and beautiful wines of their winery, so lovers of Badacsony wines could taste more than 200 excellent wines from 38 wineries. In the place full of champagne, the visitors could also get to know the outstanding representatives of the wine industry. At the event created as a symbol of togetherness – where the guests could get a taste of the atmosphere of Badacsony and the excellent wineries that operate here through short films made from photos of the wine region on the projector – the visitors could get to know, in addition to the wines, a number of local producers, tourism service providers and artisans, who supplemented their offer and they colored the view of the army.
