We believe video games are a hobby for men, even though half of domestic gamers are women
There is still a picture in Hungary that gamers are young boys, living unhealthy lifestyles, although half of the players are women and more than a third are over 40 – this is revealed by the latest national, representative research from LG Hungary. The aim of the survey was to shed light on the inaccuracies of stereotypes about gamers and to show the diversity of players.
LG Hungary examined the opinion of fans of computer and mobile games about themselves and each other in a national survey representative of the 18-65 age group. The survey related to the UltraGear monitor product category is intended to draw attention to the inadequacy of gamers ’stereotypical judgments and to point out that gaming is a much more widespread hobby than we might think.
